Jake was born and raised in the Shoals area of North Alabama. After graduating from Auburn University with honors in 2019, he came to Birmingham to begin his legal education at Cumberland School of Law. While at Cumberland he developed a passion for trial advocacy, winning several regional championships, personal awards, and being named best senior advocate his last year on the National Trial Team. Jake worked his way through law school for several leading plaintiff’s firms, gaining valuable experience in the areas of auto accidents, premises liability, workplace injury, medical malpractice, and products liability. In his spare time, Jake enjoys woodworking, hiking and camping, and record collecting. He and his wife are members of Faith Presbyterian Church.
