Travis joined Gaines Gault Hendrix, P.C. following graduation from law school in 2008 and has been a partner with the firm since 2013. Travis routinely represents both individuals and large corporate entities, including Fortune 500 companies, in complex, high-exposure litigation in both state and federal courts in Alabama. Travis brings a client-focused approach to every matter, balancing each client’s unique needs and realities with a personal desire to provide aggressive, cutting-edge representation in all aspects. He is an experienced trial attorney, having served as trial counsel in dozens of jury trials in venues throughout Alabama.  He is also proud to have achieved several favorable results for clients through dedicated motion and appellate practice.

Travis was born and raised in Auburn, Alabama. After graduating from Auburn University, he attended Cumberland School of Law and took a particular interest in trial advocacy. He and his wife, Lara, whom he met while in law school, now reside in Vestavia with their two children. Travis has long been dedicated to serving others in the Birmingham community.
