Julie is a native of Columbia, South Carolina and a lifelong Gamecocks fan. Julie was a member of the Greater Birmingham Humane Society Board of Directors from 2000 until 2011, completing two terms as President of the Board, and she also served as President of the Lenoir- Rhyne University Alumni Association Board of Directors. Julie also completed two terms on the Lenoir-Rhyne University Board of Visitors and was a longtime national officer for Sigma Kappa Sorority. Currently, Julie is a member of the Executive Boards for the Junior League of Birmingham and the Birmingham Track Club, as well as a newly re- appointed member of the Greater Birmingham Humane Society Board of Directors. She and her family attend St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Julie is an avid distance runner and a weekend soccer mom who enjoys spending time with her family, including their extremely spoiled dog and slightly neurotic cat.
